Drag the window, the icon and the cards anywhere. Click the link to open a real picker.
Never open the
wrong browser again.
Click a link anywhere on your Mac and it lands where you want it. The right browser, the right app, the right inbox. Rules do it silently, or a picker appears at your cursor and one key finishes the job.
Free for 14 days, no account, no card. The picker stays free forever.
flick is a Mac app. AirDrop the link to your Mac, or send it to yourself.
Thirty seconds of flick, recorded on a Mac.
No mockups. The picker at the cursor, one key, a rule that sticks, a Safe Link opening clean, email, a Figma link landing in Figma, and rules written as one sentence.
What happens in the forty
milliseconds after you click.
Every link takes the same short trip. Scroll, and watch this one go through, step by step.
The link exactly as Mail handed it over, with the real page folded inside.
One wrapper peeled off. This is the page you were sent, with the tracking still attached.
Two tracking parameters gone. Nothing you wanted was touched.
A rule pinned to Mail matched, so it beats the general github.com rule. No picker needed.
You never saw flick. The page is up in the browser you meant, and the tracker never fired.
One line in Recents, on this Mac. The full address only if you turned Remember full links on.

Unwrap
Outlook Safe Links, Google and Facebook redirects, YouTube, LinkedIn, Slack and Reddit wrappers and AMP pages are peeled off first, three layers deep if it comes to that.

Clean
utm_source, fbclid, gclid and dozens of their friends are stripped before anything opens. Everything you actually wanted in the address stays byte for byte intact.

Decide
A rule for the site wins, and a rule pinned to the sending app beats a general one. No rule? Your Focus picks the browser, then work hours, then the habit flick has learned from you. Still unsure? The picker.

Email addresses get the same picker. New in 2.0.
No rules yet. Tick Always in any picker, and that site routes itself from then on.
Small app. Deep pockets.
flick 2.0 is the biggest release yet: email, Send this tab, Recents, iCloud rules and Control Center, on top of everything the first version already did.
Email, not just links
Make flick your default email app and every address you click gets the same picker: Mail, Outlook, Spark, or Gmail, Outlook.com, Yahoo Mail and Fastmail composing in the browser you choose. Write a rule by recipient domain and every message to work opens where work belongs.
Send this tab
Press ⌃⌥S and the page you are reading opens in any other browser: Safari, Chrome, Brave, Edge, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera and their siblings. Safari gets a Send to flick button in its toolbar too. Read in one, act in another, without copying a single address.
Rules, the way you talk
Type "send youtube to firefox" and flick writes the rule. Pin one to the app a link came from, and let each Focus pick its own browser.
A router that learns you
The picker preselects the browser you usually choose for a site, and once it is sure, links open silently with a one tap undo.
Apps, not tabs
Zoom, Teams, Figma, Notion, Spotify, Linear, Discord and Slack links open the app itself, offered the first time a matching site shows up.
Link Scan before you click
Press S in the picker and flick follows the redirect chain, names the final destination and flags lookalike domains.

Questions, answered.
The ones people ask before they install. Everything else is in the support reference, or write to [email protected].
Does it work with every browser I have?
Every browser installed on your Mac shows up in the picker, Safari first and Chrome second, then the rest. Send this tab can read the page from eleven of them: Safari, Safari Technology Preview, Orion, Chrome, Chrome Canary, Chromium, Brave, Edge, Arc, Vivaldi and Opera. Firefox does not let other apps read its address, so it can receive links but not send its tab.
Can it open a link in a specific Chrome profile?
No. flick is sold on the Mac App Store, and the App Store sandbox drops the launch options that choose a profile, for every app in the store. The pickers that offer profiles are sold outside it. flick chose the store and its privacy guarantees.
How do I make flick my default browser?
The tour on first launch offers it. Later, choose Set as Default from the flick icon in the menu bar, or open System Settings, Desktop and Dock, Default web browser. macOS asks you to confirm once. Making flick your default email app works the same way, from Settings, Email.
Which Macs does it run on?
Any Mac on macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Spotlight results for Recents need macOS 15, and the Control Center buttons need macOS 26. Everything else works on every supported version.
What does flick know about me?
Nothing leaves your Mac. There is no account, no analytics and no server of mine. flick keeps the host of each link, the app it came from and the browser it opened in, inside its own sandbox on your Mac, so it can learn your habits. Full links are kept only if you turn on Remember full links, and Forget Everything erases it all.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Nothing breaks. Links keep opening, and the picker, the shortcuts, link unwrapping and tracking cleanup stay free forever. Every rule you already have keeps routing; adding a rule past the fifth needs Pro, and Pro features open the flick Pro window instead of running.
Is there a one time price?
Yes. flick Pro is $1.99 a month, $14.99 a year, or $39.99 once for life, and the lifetime purchase supports Family Sharing where Apple offers it. Every Pro feature is free for 14 days first, with no account and no card.
Is there an iPhone version?
No. flick is a Mac app, and only a Mac app.
Give every link the right landing.
Set flick as your default browser once. Every link after that goes exactly where you want it.
Download on theMac App StoreRequires macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Spotlight results need macOS 15, Control Center buttons macOS 26.
